A clean and comfortable large room. Despite being located adjacent to a busy intersection, it was quiet inside our room overnight. We liked having an outside view of the garden area through the large glass sliding door that allowed natural light into the room.

It was a good location for us as we were heading back to Melbourne airport early in the morning. Spacious room with outside seating and chairs. Pool area but unfortunately not warm enough whilst we were there.

This was a typical old-fashioned roadside motel, but it has been updated to meet every need! We loved parking right outside our room door and unloading everything from the trunk straight inside. The room was very neat and clean, it was spacious, the pillows and bed were comfortable, the shower was great (hot and strong water pressure), it was quiet, and we had everything needed to have breakfast in the room. The price was very reasonable, and we would definitely return!

This motel was in a fantastic location to start our Great Ocean Road trip. It was very easy to check in and we felt right at home. We had our own bathroom, cutlery, crockery, kettle, toaster and microwave, and a table and chairs to eat at. We had everything we needed for our stay.

Room was clean, with an outdoor garden area. Priced fairly for a motel of moderate standard.Microwave in the room was a bonus. Away from the main beach, but location is acceptable. Pool available in the warmer weather

The location is great and it's good for what it is. If you just need a base, then this is it. 5 mins from the centre of Torquay and 15 mins to Armstrong Creek. Nice owners and a Great spot 👍🏼

If you are wanting a budget family getaway in a clean environment, this is the place for you! Tropicana is an original motel from our youth, nothing fancy BUT it is clean, friendly and quiet in a great location for the beach. We've stayed more than once and will be back next summer, I'm sure. Perfect for a weekend away with the family.

We stayed for one night on a Great Ocean Road drive. Location to the outlet shops is perfect. Room was clean with all we needed - kettle, toaster, hairdryer etc. Layout of room allowed separation at bedtime. Short drive to town centre. Would stay again!!

The spa was nice and warm. Clean and inviting with chairs to relax on. The play room had a table tennis set up. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. It was easy to find and close to some shops. The information centre was close with lots of souvenirs.

The traditional motel rooms were clean, comfortable and cosy. Tropicana is close to restaurants and shops but not within walking distance. A good one night stopover option.
